Terms & Conditions
Everything you need to know about booking, preparing for and looking after your treatment at VIXEN.
About These Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all treatments booked with VIXEN by Victoria Stoll ("VIXEN", "we", "us" or "our"), including permanent makeup, tattoos, medical tattooing, LVL, lash tints and HD Brows. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
Booking Your Appointment
- Appointments can be booked through our online booking page or by contacting Victoria directly.
- Some appointments may require a deposit to secure your booking. Any deposit will be shown at the time of booking and is deducted from the final price of your treatment.
- Your appointment is only confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation.
- You must be 18 or over to book any tattoo or permanent makeup treatment. Photo ID may be requested.
Consultations and Patch Tests
- Consultations are free of charge and are the best place to discuss your goals, suitability and the right treatment for you.
- A patch test may be required before some treatments, including LVL, lash tints and certain pigments. Treatment cannot go ahead if a required patch test has not been carried out.
- New clients requesting an Annual Colour Boost will need a consultation and assessment first.
Suitability and Medical Information
Your safety comes first. Before treatment, you will be asked to complete a consultation form. It is your responsibility to give full and accurate information about your health, medication, allergies and skin history.
- Permanent makeup and tattoo treatments are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, undergoing chemotherapy, or taking Roaccutane, and may not be suitable if you have certain skin or medical conditions.
- Some medical conditions or medications may require approval from your GP before treatment can go ahead.
- Victoria may refuse or postpone treatment if she believes it is unsafe or unsuitable for you. This decision is made with your wellbeing in mind.
- Treatment will not be carried out on anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Cancellations, Changes and Lateness
- If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please give at least 48 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another client.
- Cancellations made with less notice, or appointments that are missed without notice, may result in the loss of any deposit paid.
- If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened or rebooked so that other clients are not affected.
- We will always try to give you as much notice as possible if we need to change your appointment, and any deposit will be transferred to your new date.
Prices and Payment
- Current prices are shown on our Treatments & Prices page and on our booking page. Prices may change from time to time, and the price confirmed at the time of booking will apply.
- Payment for your treatment is due on the day of your appointment.
- Permanent makeup prices include one touch up appointment around 6 weeks after your initial treatment. Touch ups booked much later than this may be charged as a colour boost.
- Annual Colour Boost prices depend on how long it has been since your last treatment, as shown on our Treatments & Prices page.
Results and Aftercare
- Permanent makeup is semi permanent and will fade over time. How long your results last depends on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare and how closely you follow your aftercare.
- Every client heals differently, so results cannot be guaranteed to be identical to examples shown on our website or social media.
- You will be given aftercare advice after your treatment. Following it carefully is essential for the best result, and results affected by not following aftercare cannot be corrected free of charge.
Tattoos
- Tattoo prices depend on size and time, as shown on our Treatments & Prices page. Please get in touch to discuss your ideas before booking.
- Your design, size and placement will be agreed with you before tattooing begins. Changes requested once the tattoo has started may affect the time needed and the final price.
Photographs
Before and after photographs may be taken as part of your treatment record. We will only share your photographs on our website or social media with your permission, and you can ask us to stop using them at any time.
Refunds and Concerns
Because of the nature of permanent makeup and tattooing, treatments cannot be refunded once they have been carried out. If you have any concerns about your treatment or your healed result, please contact Victoria as soon as possible so she can talk it through with you and, where appropriate, address it at your touch up appointment.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Liability
- All treatments are carried out with reasonable care and skill by a qualified and insured artist.
- We cannot be held responsible for reactions or results caused by information that was not disclosed during your consultation, or by not following aftercare advice.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Our Website
Information on this website is for general guidance and does not replace a personal consultation or medical advice. Our website links to third party services, such as our booking page and social media, which have their own terms and policies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page at the time of your booking will apply to your appointment.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
